View Full Version : Hidden edges being selected

I'm working on a car model and have the front hidden while I work on the back but every time I lasso select an edge all of the hidden edges become selected. Any idea what causes this or know a way to fix it?

Hey Phil, are you by chance using CC subds? I notice this sometimes happens with the current implementation of them.

Yes, I am actually. Now I've switched and the bug was fixed. Thanks. Hope it gets fixed for real at some point.

Yeah me too. IMHO, the current iteration of CCs is totally useless. I've tried and tried to use them, but they are so utterly flawed it is mostly pointless trying.

It's unfortunate, but I believe we can all rest assured that CORE will not have this problem. :thumbsup:

Well for the most part I have no problem with CCs, I think the only thing that really bothers me is the UV map can't have any subpatch interpolation. Oh and the edge weighting can't be mirrored.

Whoops nevermind, it just started doing it again even with regular subpatches.

Really? I've never had it happen with regular subpatches. Herm, try deleting your configs maybe? (save your prefs of course before hand)

Dude that is weird.

I've only ever had it happen to me with CC SubDs. I wonder what the issue could be?

Regardless though, clearing your configs should definitely solve the issue. (Be sure to save your hotkeys and other stuff first!)

Yeah I'm just being lazy 'cuz it's a pain to save all that stuff out. :p
