View Full Version : Cannot close polygon right way - what is wrong?

Hi Guys
please take a look on my mesh. What should I do to make it clean.
It should be in grey without that empty triangles.:help:

the quick and dirty way is to shift t it but you've got way too many points in these n-gons imo. So if its an EPS or AI file you've imported you can try re-importing it with the curve division level set to standard or even rough or maybe work directly on the n-gons and try the reduce points command with the point reduction threshold setting to low or medium (construct tab) !

you could also triple everything, then merge it. sometimes that gets rid of it, if it doesn't, you can use the knife tool a few times then triple it. I agree that those are way to many ponts.

You need to add some splits, Modeler doesn't like single polys made with loads of points.

Have you tried rendering it?

It could just be a display glitch (which is common in modeler) which wont show up when rendered.
