Opinions, i know its not spot on and theres some polygons showing in the towers. Just interested in general opinions of the model.

Its a decent start.
I think you have some proportional issues. The minarets look a little thick and the little towers to the side of the main dome are too thin.
The front arch isn't peaked enough either and the minor finials are too big.

Scale and proportion is what makes a model like this convincing. Once you've sorted that out, you can get working on the detail!

Yes before going further, I think you add to fix this proportional issues, but otherwise it's a good start! :) Some blueprint like this one (http://www.abbeville.com/images-catalog/full-size/1558596178.interior05.jpg) should help a lot!

Hi thanks for the comments aside from the proportion issues in regards to adding details which would be the best method. Micro moddeling or going down the texture route?

Depending of the distance between your camera and your subject; in general close shots need modeling details, distant shots just need texture :)
