I own after effects cs4. I am wanting to make a explosion in lightwave, and composite it into a footage with after effects. I renderd a png32 sequence of a explosion made with hypervoxels. When I put the explosion over a video in after effects, the pngs alpha channel does not seem to be seperating the explosion the right way. There are darker edges around the explosion where there shouldn't be.

Could there be a option I should press? Or another type of file format I should use?

Thanks

You could also check your footage interpretation. If your footage is already imported, right-click on it in the Project window and select Interpret Footage -> Main. It may be set to Premultiplied and you may need to set it to Straight, or visa versa.
