awesome work, it looks like you really had fun on these pieces especially the mechanical bird...was the xmas lights wire done with the rope editor plugin ?

hello,
the wire is a simple disc rail extrusion :) and then i duplicate to make a nest..
but it's sure if i had this plug it would be nicer and more realistic.
for the mechanical pieces some simples views of clock found on web are enough to give the shape, and this model is not made to animate. If it was, it should be a very headache job :)

The stick looks like a mapped cylinder, but the caterpillar is exceptional, very nice.

great bird, almost kind of steam punkish.
