Greetings fellow LWers!!

I made a 18th century Galleot for the Greek edition of NG. The specific one uses a flag of the Psara island and was used extensively in the Greek Independence war of 1821. For reference I've used drawings and ship plans from a Russian galleot with some modifications. Modeling was done in LW 9.6 and rendering with FPrime 3.5

Great stuff and ty for sharing.
Remembers me of those models, older, patient guys, do with a lot of care and skill and then a little kid wants to come and play with it and then man says a severe: "Don't touch!!!" and the kid is just let with the option to daze.

You and Feeney (http://www.newtek.com/forums/showpost.php?p=943078&postcount=61) should make a naval fleet =)

Cheers

Awesome model! Very good texturing.

You might want to try to fool with Cloth Dynamics to get some sag in the ratlines, and just save it transformed like that.

Although in the ocean like it is, the lines aren't obvious.
