i had this idea for animating some particles,
however, i'm wandering if particles can be morphed while sticking to a surface.

Would be possible with nodal particles (which we don't have): you measure the difference between the nearest spot of the object (with the "Nearest Spot Node", which doesn't exist) and its morphed position, and use that info to displace the particles.

Or, hope for an updated version of the Anchor plugin, where we can displace particles based on UV data. :p ;)

Right now I don't see a way to make this work. Hopefully CORE will be able to deal with these limitations.
