View Full Version : Beginner Null target help

Help please! I'm rigging a character for animation and I'm trying to set up a null for the eyes to target.

So what I'm doing is going into the motion properties for each eye bone and setting the target to my null object. But whenever I do this the eyes immediately offset at a completely different angle. The eye rotation is affected by the position of the null but the pupils (bone direction) do not follow my null... Hope I'm explaining that OK. Thanks.

Try making each eye a separate object (Separate layer) and try it without the bones. Just do the same thing in the object properties panel.

See if that works better for you.
