Hi all

Here's a cel-shaded girl with bike, done in 6.5 and Photoshop.

Best regards

Hello Alex,

You have a nice image there, I especially like the detail on the bike. It seams that lately more people are using the cel shader, or I have just happened to see lots of stuff lately done with it. I am inspired to experiment with it soon.

Is this going to be part of an animation?

Thanks Oxyg3n.

I've been interested in cel-shading for quite a while, but discovering BESM really made a difference to me. I love the way you can see the colours rather than with the super cel shader where you have to type in numbers. I would say it is definitely worth experimenting. I've got no plans for an animation at the moment though maybe one day... :)

Like I have said in CGTalk, this is quality stuff! Look even better when the pic is bigger and clearer. Gallery material.

Thanks for the comments JoPPa, Zombat and dzogchen.

Thanks also to Newtek for allowing people to post large images on these boards.

Cool image... I'd make the head(face?) of the chick look a little more sexy... taper down the jaws maybe... just my $.02
Great image, though! :p :p

Nice! I like the clean look of the shading and ink lines!

I also like the elegant geometric shape of her head.

Thanks for commenting Philly[Dee] and Celshader.

Celshader, I have always enjoyed your site - it is a great source of information and I like the latest addition to your gallery.

Philly[Dee] I know what you mean about the jaw, but this is not intended to be a character with much (if any) sexual appeal. Maybe next time...: )
