¿Can I make particles follow a Path created in modeler, with out moving the particle emitter?

No, unfortunately you can't. You can try to play around with path wind and other force fields to imitate the behaviour.

Yes you can, just use the path wind option, your particles will follow any path flawlessly, and your emitter will remain fixed at the start of the path.

I'll try an attach a scene file for you later when I have some time.

Here's a quick test file.

I guess if you want to use a path from modeller, you could export path to motion.

Here's another test using a path created in modeler, then exported using Path to Motion found under export options in the file menu.

Yeah, my memory betrayed me. I haven't used path wind for a while and was under the impression it worked only with moving PFX. Sorry for having caused any confusion.

hmph...

it seems like i want to blame the docs for this (they hardly say anything, such brevity - "brevity the soul of wit"??). but i wanted to do something like that and ended up using a lot of wind affectors.

of course i should be blaming myself... but. :(
