Hmmm I can see why and where you would use it "nice concept" but I know a model builder (mini) and I reckon if I gave him my render he could re-create the model for cheaper ......

Mass production in the future when the printer is cheap would be a good business idea. :thumbsup:
hand made will always be more expensive and time consuming.

When a 3d printer can do RGB, Spot colours (especially for metallic) & Transparent. Then I will think about one.

But by then I will probable be out of a job because the architects will get one themselves.

Thats pretty sweet that its full color. We have one at our high school that prints in plastic but not in color. Works really well with Lightwave though.

so if I get a 3D print of a model and take a photo of it, does that count as photo-real? :question:
