View Full Version : HDRI Image Probe to Lighting setup

I am using sasquatch (full) and I want to light my scenes entirely with the image probes I made on set. While Sas seems to take into account global illumination and shade the hair with it (even though I have to crank the level WAY up) it does not hightlight the hair in the specular channel (which makes sense) or take into consideration reflection.

Since it only takes into account specular highlights from scene lights, I can of course load up my light probe and attempt to recreate the lighting setup with spotlights.

- But I'm hoping that there is plugin somewhere that does for me. I'd like to load a HDRI light probe and have it create a lighting setup based on the intensity and color of say the 5 brightest light points in the image....

I know it's a long shot but I thought I'd try.

I think there was a plugin that did something similar, called light(B)(I)(T)(C)(H) if i recall, i could be wrong but you never know.
