Interesting program. I'm making garbage, since this is the first time I've ever tried 3D sculpting. But it's really fun, in a lumpy, silly looking kind of way. And at least for the limited things I've made so far, it's really smooth and speedy.

Watch some sculpting on youtube. They all start out looking stupid.

That is F88king awesome, Onlinerender!!! I just started messing with this program 2 days ago, looks very promising. Your Time Lapse is quite impressive imho, any tips on tool usage?

I wish I could give tips ,but I have only been using the software for about 3 days"see original thread post date for confirmation (",) " .
I have to admit this kinda modellin feels more natural to me .
If I can create that in 10 minutes , imagine what Leigh /ZB/3DC artists could do .
you cant compare this software to the others, mainly because its Alpha and a very long way in development from the rest , but it has potential ,I've spoken to developer and he is happy to work on his own atm , although that will probably change soon , I hope NT fork out the right money for the dude , but I'm sure someone will be able to rip the software apart and re-code to there specification , kinda reminds me of Leonardo3s work .

but its still something new to play with and that's always a bonus ...............

PEACE

Naw, this is a special level of stupid, since I can't turn out a decent end result either. :) But it's fun to play with, and I'm sure I'll get better.

*De-lurks*

I downloaded Sculptris this afternoon to play around with for a couple of hours. It's quite impressive considering the short amount of time it's been developed. Has a lot of potential.

Tricky to get fine details because the brush doesn't scale as small as I would like. And it seems to crash occasionally when undoing strokes, but brilliantly it also appears to save a backup file from where you left off, so I wasted a lot of foul language with the first crash for nothing.:hey:
