When we buy this class is it for all 3 classes or just the first one?

12-22-2009, 12:15 PM
The price of $14.95 for tips and tricks on explosions from the Award winning TV show, Battlestar Galactica is for the first class only of the three.

Thanks, Where I work they have gotten uptight about buying stuff online so I never actually knew the price was $14.95 I thought it was $39.95. $15 bucks for a 2 hr seminar is cheap and finally one I can attend as I have the day booked off.

are the webinars avail?

Don't have time to go through the ones I bought from you already Wes (still have the Viper 1 and 2)! So I'll wait till they're all done and buy them all at once. ;)

Is it all Lightwave, Hypervoxels?? Or did he use special plugins?

It's all pretty much Lightwave with a little fusion plus a kat (thats me) with some interesting tricks!

Here is a sample image of what we will be covering today and throughout the rest of the 3 part series. The class starts today, december 26th, 2009 at 1PM CST

Go here to register!

After the video session there will be goodies included (scene files, fusion flows, images). That will take me a bit to pack up but that stuff alone is worth the price of admission. But the big bonus is that you will walk away with the knowledge on how to do this stuff like we did on the big show.

Be a happy kat! =^..^= :cat:

I want to attend these webinars. But they're always around 5 am japan time. I hope the videos are available soon.

I see. Anyway I think its important to have these videos out asap while lw legacy is still relevant. The videos I've bought I've used immediately because I'm still using lw at work. I will still use it for hobby even if its obsolete. So I am very interested with BSG workflow.
Regarding service, I don't know I just buy and download with no problems. And the discount they gave which was 40% last week is very generous so I've yet to have bad experience.

We were told at the end of the webinar on the 19th that the video would be made available to those who attended by the end of the weekend. We were also told that we would be informed as to who won the StarPro license. So far we don't have either piece of information. As I have said here before recently, Kurv is becoming more and more customer-ignorant. And considering for a LONG time I defended their service, this is a VERY sad development.

I would give them a little break since it is right after x-mas and certain aspects may not be as simple as they should be or could be.

I SPECIFICALLY asked Wes when the webinar would be up for us to download. He said THAT weekend - the 19th/20. Really? Yes. Okay... great. Well here it is the following weekend and again... nothing. No answers. He also said he would be letting everyone know who won the StarPro license. No info there either.

This is NOT a one-time problem. This is an ongoing and ever-increasing problem. I NEVER thought "I" would be one to complain about Kurv. And yet... here I am. And there are LOTS of other users who are apparently complaining as well. Check out the LW section of CGTalk.

yeah as I recall it was mentioned several times during the webinar that the video would be available same weekend.

must be using a 486 to compress his videos or something

I'm just greatful for the first lesson being free , it was a few weeks before x-mas and It was appricated that some people had the chance to see how LW can be used to its potential ,was amazing seeing Kat work ! and it ran well over time .
