*moving the tumbleweed out of the forum*

NAB is getting closer... T[3], TeD, LW(something plz)!!!

I just ordered my second 120GB 8MB Cache WD drive, which should be arriving today. I plan on getting one to two more and using a 3ware controller. Is the 4 channel Escalade (low profile) any different from the normal 4 channel model? I can get the LP model for about $280. What speeds can I expect with a 3 drive setup using that controller and those drives? Should I go for 4? This is in preparation for taking a bat to my DV500+ and going Toaster!

It may be quiet because every time I open my mouth someone jumps in to critisizes me or they say that they don't have that problem, instead of trying to help out with a problem. I am sure others see this and shy away in fear of being critisized themselves.

Don't be shy, speak up! People only judge you by your words.
I don't know of anyone who'd NOT respond to your needs.
Ask away!:) What little I know, I'll gladly try and help.

Are you going to NAB? I'll buy you a drink at the party.
