Hi

Does anyone know if there is a 'self' / 'me' type reference for channels in Graph Editor Expressions?

e.g: vmag( Self.wpos(Time) - dof_target.wpos(Time) )

I've looked but can't see anything that might be it.

Cheers
Matt

as a specific value type, that I know of, no. But you can of course just reference the regular channel name of the object itself.

Thanks Rebil, that's what I'm doing now, I have three cameras targetting the same dof NULL, and using Expressions to change the DOF value based on their positional difference. Just wanted to be able to use one script as oppose to three!

If you use relativity there, yes.

I did think of looking at that, but I'd done it the old way by then! But good to know, thanks!
