I want to create a sphere that I can cut openings into and have the edges of the openings show a thickness. Sort of like what happens when you cut the openings in a Jack-O-Lantern.

I thought about placing a slightly smaller sphere inside another sphere, but I'm not sure how to make the edges join after cutting through them to make the openings. I'm on LW 8.5. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Hope it helps.

So all edges should have the same thickness? I think I used Solid Drill, then Smooth Shifted it inwards and then Boolean subtracted another sphere inside on my Jack-O. Sorry if I misunderstood.

Thanks All,

The Blochi Thickener looks like a winner. Now I just have to remember how to add a plug-in. :D
