The downloads section is a mess.
The title of the download link should be the same as the file name. And the file name should be based on a common standard.

Make sense of this:
TriCaster2.5Update03182009
TriCaster2Update092008
TriCaster 2 Update 91709
TriCasterStudioUpdate2_us

When I have to restore the TC Studio (which happens too often), it's a game of guess the order of installs.

Thanks.

Trying to figure out what version you have loaded and what the updated/upgrades on the download site has always been awkward. I would like to see NewTek use a more conventional software version naming scheme. The download site should not use dates as the file name. You should see something like TriCaster_Studio_2.5.1. That way you know exactly what version you are downloading. Next you should be able to find the same naming convention in the TriCaster software.

I'm sure this would be simple to do, folks have asked for this before, probably never happen.

I've always felt NewTek could do better with build names.
All software is 2.1, 2.2 etc. Any public release should add a new .X
They often feel it's not important for a minor release.
JMHO.
