How bad is it sebrady, or do you not have rosetta installed?

After installing Rosetta, LW 7.5 does launch under Snow Leopard. I was able to load a previous project, but i did have to load the input-output plugins and model textures.

Same. I just tried it myself, and I for SURE have Rosetta installed.

Using SL 10.6.2, and trying to launch LW 8.5d

Having only tried Modeler so far i am having a minor difficulty.

When i mouse click on a point with the drag tool, the point shoots off the screen. I can drag it back into place but it's kind of annoying.

However, if i double click on the point, i can drag it just fine. But when modeling i sound like a freaking cricket.

I did do a Migrate from my old G4, so i am considering a clean install.

7.5 on later versions of osx had OpenGL problems, switching from Mouse to Tablet in the preferences might help.

downloaded Wacom's Int2 SL update and now i can drag points with the tablet just fine. But the mouse still makes points jump off the screen.

That does sound familiar, not sure if there was a fix for that or not. The OpenGL problems were a result of big changes in the way the Mac OS handles it, I should've specified that.

So any 'fix' will be more like a hack, if you can find it.

Between that, and the fact that 7.5 is pre-Universal Binary, was written before intel macs existed, and runs in emulation (Rosetta) which Newtek doesn't support, I'm surprised it works at all. I wouldn't try to make a living with this combination if I were you.
