The neighbors had a fight, apparently broke up, and now their kitten keeps hanging out over here. She comes in, nibbles out of the dog's bowl. She has already found a favorite chair. Looks like she's just been spayed, her belly fur hasn't grown back yet. Her name is Ginger and I think she's going to sign the lease today!

Ginger needs a happy place. Ginger found a happy place. Cats know cat people.

Pictures are a requirement.

She used the litter box and isn't meowing at the door to go outside. I guess she's staying the night.

...we need a pikky!

And I need a cammy!

Don't buy the Vupoint Solutions 6mp digital camera. Only $99, but it has issues that end up not being worth it.

My neighbor doesn't seem to miss Ginger, and she doesn't seem to miss them.

Hmmm. If you had a scanner, we could at least see her paws.

I just love those furry little kittens.

I had two cats during 18 years from I was 14 years old, so I belong to the cat people.

Unfortunatly my allergy has become stronger with age, so I really can´t
enjoy those little purring critters, except when visiting my sister who has
four lovely ones, looking like little lions, they are of a Norwegian forest cat
rase, and are so beutiful, but I have to take eyedrops and nose spray to be able to
cuddle with them.

There was a little tragic accident here in sweden one or two days ago.
A cat jumped in to a childrens wagoon, and was lying on top of
of a 3 months old baby´s head, and tragicly the baby was suffocated to death.

It makes me wonder how they feel towards cats in general, or how they
feel against that cat, the cat itself was probably just looking for a cosy
place to rest on.

Ginger came back this morning! I though the neighbors had taken her back, maybe she was just hiding out from them.

Should I hide the kitty? I don't think her former people gave her much attention, and she seems to be happy with me and my border collie.

I feed three cats on my porch, on a nice day I leave the door open and they all wander in for a bit, but scat away if I move too fast. Only Ginger has actually slept inside.

well i got accused of cat napping dyson from his owner years ago when he was 'invited' by wilson...i just said take it up with wilson not me...he invited him and Dyson decided to stay here...

and i said the phrase...you don't own cats...they own you!...ie the cat servant tag i have!...they moved on and dyson stayed 12 years with me...:D

as to hid him?...not so sure..in the end the cat will decide where he/she wants to be wehte you hid them or not...freedom t come and go is the key...saying that i'm keeping i Poly for thelast 2 hours until the people stop arriving home in their cars...she's not that car savvy as yet....so it's for her own good...
so if you belive she may come to harm...then yeah

are the owners worried/looking for her btw?

I haven't seen them. I think the woman has a restraining order against the man, I only notice that the car is gone occasionally.

Ginger is officially mine. Or as cats see it, I belong to her. The neighbor said she seems so happy she should stay with me. Yahhh!

I'm not a cat person myself, but this thread has given me a great idea for a free place to stay next time I'm in Pagosa Springs. All I'd need is a large cat-suit.......

well done Shrox !! ;)

Only hot chicks in cat ears and black stockings can do that.

41 years I've been waiting for a cat like that, only seem to get the furry variety. Is it the missus that's putting them off or do I need a bigger cat flap?

Well done Shrox, good luck with the kitty, and the extra food, the clawed furniture, the kitty treats and the 'must have' toys.

Christmas can get expensive...

Ginger is sick. Every three feet there was a little spot of vomit. And she has butt ikkyness in her tail I'll have to cut out. Poor sick kitty!

I can't afford it right now, I don't even have insurance myself, but my kitty experience says she'll be OK, her stools are firm now, not like those squishy ones at the bar...

It's easy to get donations on the web! But you'd have to get hold of a camera first, so it's an evil circle.

BTW: This thread is a happy place in itself!

Edit: Except for that very tragic accident in Sweden! :(
