Hi again,

I thought I had this licked but encountering something unforeseen. Using Soft FX to create the dynamic antenna works well but it wants to stretch the antenna mesh as it moves around (making the antenna longer). Any way to keep the mesh from distorting this way? Thanks for any insight.

I would think bones would work better. As it would make it flexible yet firm. Sounds like cookie dough.:D

There's a couple of ways to limit movement in softFX, they're under the Deform tab, at the bottom.

I think maybe a bone chain might be better though for this kind of thing like Silk said.

Thanks for the expert advice. Will give bones a shot and thanks for the 'springythingy'. Will look into that as well.
