btw i just noticed that Xfrog has a deal to sidegrade terragen 2 and 1,300 plants 599 not to sure if that's a deal. they also have a 899 sidegrade. i do have the free version of Terragen. i haven't had any luck with syncing camera motion from lw to Terragen.

Back to using Lscript importers and exporters, then. Looks like E-on dropped Lightwave integration. Can't say I didn't see that comin'. And once a company drops support, its safe to say that it will never come back, even for Core.

OK Im an idiot - yes, Xstream is STILL for Lightwave.

Just depressed by the fact that E-on cant have all the functionality in LW that it does in the other programs... Like ecosystem painting in the host app.

somone needs to put a drop more liquid into your glass!...looks half empty to me!:D

if Core is successful once launched to the public everyone will want to connect to it....even landscape apps like Vue.:)

Frankly I would rather a great atmosphere add-on and ecosystem-like render instancing .. then I would skip Vue altogether.

Vue 8. Crashing in the new frontier.

Did they ever bother to fix the 7/7.5 problems, or is 8.0 the paid version of the bug fix, like usual?

Paid version of bug fix, with new and improved bugs.

I'm still using 6.5 and have no intention of ever upgrading. 6.5 does everything I need it to do, and I'm familiar enough with it's bugs to actually be able to use it and make it work.

Maybe I'll upgrade at version 10, which should be sometime next year.
