Hello,

Any advice on training DVD's or other resources for animating in Lightwave? I'm not looking for modeling or texturing, but animation, using the graph editor and production processes.

Thanks,

Dale

I'd most def. 2nd Jason Ryan's training for learning the principals of animation. ;)
You'll be able to adapt what you learn in LW no problem.

If you already know general animation and/or you're looking for training on Lightwave's specific animation tools, there are Desktop Images' Lightwave Character Modeling and Animation Volume 5 (Body Animation), Mr. Jonny Gorden's Cartoon Character Creation Volume 2: Rigging and Animation, and Mr. Larry Schultz's Professional Character Series Volume 4: Character Animation.

Thanks everyone for the info. Those are really good links. I'm not looking for character animation per say, but was looking for training on animating within Lightwave (i.e. graph editor, camera usage, multipass rendering, etc.)

After more searching it looks like the closest is LW 7 series, animate 1 and 2. Are these still applicable to 9.6?
