Hey, I've searched around but am having trouble finding the answer to my problem

Attached is an image of the problem im having. It seems like certain polys are going crazy with the sss.

I don't think there's a 'fix' for that per se, it's a drawback of that shader; your different layers need to be more similar in color - well that's what I concluded just before I stopped using it...

i just ran into this a few minutes ago. i think its the epidermal/subdermal distance. for mine i think the subdermal distance was set at 500mm when the epidermal distance was set to .5mm so it popped through. if that fixes your problem you could probably paint a black and white map to control it.
