View Full Version : Timewarp renders with black background

I've been having some issues with the timewarp camera modifier. It seems to always override the background color for the scene and render it black. Even if I add a new camera to the scene without timewarp added to it the background still remains black. This was persistent on both mac and pc. Any suggestions?

Two things:
1. I was told that this plugin is an evil hack.
2. It only works with the classic camera when it does work.

What's the suggested way to to work with speed ramping then? I'm finding it difficult to control speed and acceleration. Adobe After Effects has the ability in the graph editor to manipulate the speed curve independently of the animation path, how do you do this in Lightwave?

You might try Dponts Item motion node. Theres an option to control the playback speed
of an item based on time.

I don't have experience with timewarp, but if the background isn't part of the lighting or reflections you could render it separately and comp the foreground and background together.

If the background is necessary for reflections or lighting you could try making a giant sphere and using that as the background.
