Does anybody know if the new photoshop extended is able to open 3d models, paint texture maps on them in the new interface and then export the maps back onto a lwo. model? If it can that would be a great texture mapping tool. Another question? Has anybody used Vue 7.5 xsteam with lightwave? If so, how good is it?

You should be able to use the LWO importer for Photoshop that's in your account at http://register.newtek.com

Hey Ben,

The latest date on any Photoshop Object Importer in my LW Reg download page is "LightWave Rendition™ For Adobe® Photoshop® LightWave Object Importer - Mac -- added 04-02-2008."

Is that really the newest one?

Thanks

I would expect that to be the most recent. Since CS4 on the Mac was not significantly different (as far as architecture) there should be no issues with the LW plugin that came out for CS3.

Works here, Leopard 10.5.8, Photoshop CS4

You need to copy in the plugin into the File Formats folder in the plugins directory where PS is installed, then restart PS.
