If this is true. I would like to enlist now, even if I'm not a citizen of their country. :)

It's all fun and games until someone takes a 50 cal to the face.

At least Americas Army (http://www.americasarmy.com/) has entertainment benefits worldwide.
But still it's strange to think that youngsters are being recruited with that.
Still, it's my favorite game. Like ARMA it's very game/simulation. And it's instructive.

But... transformers...

It's like in the middle of the battle: "We're is that robotic backup?"

Yeah now you dont need to hire the USA forces to train your army, just rent the game from gamefly and your good to go.

I thought the same, especially the forward roll that one robot does!

The end graphics also reminded me of the recruitment adverts in 'Starship Troopers!' "Do You Want to Know More?" - erm, no, actually!

:D

I would love to know why the majority of photoreal CG I see out of Asia has no motion blur. Seriously. What is the deal?

What is the deal? They also do not use film grain or "35mm look" filters or settings when they capture digital. Anything that was originally a defect or limitation of the capturing device and that is not technically present in the newer technology seems to be regarded as good riddance. Clean high tech look is the look over there.
