View Full Version : Lightwave texturing workflow?

Up to this point I have used Lightwave (currently 9.6) and photoshop to texture models.

I am working on a fish model now that will need to be painted (wacom) directly on the model to get accurate textures.

I currently have Zbrush 3.2 and Modo 302 but I have not used them other than to briefly play with them.

I am looking for a workflow recommendation, something like:
1) Model done in lightwave (this is already done)
2) UV maps created in Lightwave
3) Model exported to/opened in zBrush or Modo
4) Texture maps painted (color, specular, transparency, reflection, bump, displacement and/or normal maps, etc)
5) open/import back into lightwave

I assume that there must be some documentation on the web for this but as yet I have not been able to find it.

Any help or recommendations would be mush appreciated.
