Here's my first try at simulating jelly. I used ClothFX to create the wobble. I used the dielectric material to surface the object.
Attached to this message is a still image from the actual animation:

After watching it I was pleased but there is still alot of room for improvement. I'll add those whenever I find time to do so.

interesting look..what is your voxel setup ??and any progress as you mention that you are trying to solve the bloby look !!

Well the amount of stretch and the amount of particles will surely get you some good results but for actual production related projects I would never use this because calculation times and render times are astronomical compared to using RealFlow or a similar program.

I have uploaded my Jelly surface to Presetcentral.com for people who requested I would give more info on the surface settings. This way you can play around with the surface itself.
