View Full Version : Hypervoxels texture spazzes out after approx 30 frames

I have a scene with some smoke. The texture seems to work nicely until about frame 90 (the whole sequence starts at frame 60) then the texture starts moving really fast and completely destroys the whole look.

I'll post up a video in a second.

Nevermind. It seems the texture didn't like 'use global coordinates' or whatever it's called. It works now.

Another thing that can cause the spaz is "align to path." Watch out for that one.

Ya if the particles have a nice motion in any direction they tend to be ok, (with align to path) but the moment they come to a stop or change direction you'll see them all spin around and jiggle. Loves to ruin a render.
