Hi All,

Is someone has problem rendering with Saslite and Volumetric light on ?

When i turn on Volumetric light, all my saslite surfaces does not render ... no hair.

When i turn the volumetric off, Saslite comes back ....

Twilight Zone or am i missing something ?

Thank you for helping.

Neither Sas nor Sas Lite work with volumetric lighting.

Either fake volumetric lights (there are tutorials for this on the Internet) or do it in post.

Thanks for helping.

I found a trick that really works :

Setup the scene with all saslite surfaces and volumetric lights as desired.

1. Render your scene with volumetric light OFF

2. Save your image

3. Delete all objects (but not camera and light)

4. Set your background to black

5. Go to scene - backdrop - compositing

6. Choose your saved rendered image as background image

7. Do a render and magic appear !

Saslite surfaces are present with volumetric light !!!

And more speedy for volumetric

Have fun :)

Very nice.

Maybe some enterprising person will automate this within an LScript.
