Welcome to Lightwave land. :D Best thing about Lightwave is the supply of people here that are willing to help with any problem, creative or technical, you may have.

Have fun. ;D

You are doomed.

You will produce great work that people will like, until you mention you did it in Lightwave, then they will scoff and cajole you, saying you should get a "real" 3D program. However, you won't be in debt like they are, still paying off their Max/Maya/Etc bill...

Welcome to the better choice.

This is sooooo true.

hi and welcome.

you'll find this forum to be probably the best '3d' forum on planet earth..very helpful people..we're quite talkative...have strong vews on stuff but are open to listen to the other person's side...we have quite abit of fun here and can go a little off topic on occasion [my cat thread for example!].

any questions are usually promptly replied to with links/vids/models to help you out.
Newtek are a very nice company, you'll find them active on the forums especially in the Core forum area right now as they develop it with input for their usebase.

lots of video tutorials are hosted on newtek's site...24 hours of!
