View Full Version : Is this kind of morphing possible...?

I had this idea while watching ZBrush morph a model between its regular shape and its UVs.
Since the UVs represent the points in an object and an object uses points for morphs, is there a way to morph an object into the shape of its UVs? That is to say, all flattened out at 0 on the Y axis.
Possible in LW? Some kind of technique or plugin to do that?

You wont be able to merge seam points after because of the morph

Thanks again, probiner. :)

Yeah, I wasn't expecting to be able to merge points, but wanted to know if such a thing was possible before going off and trying it. I wouldn't know where to start.

But why does that script say "Here's 7.5 versions of the scripts for the Mac guys..."

Is that Mac only? I wouldn't think it would matter if it's just a script.
