this might already be in 8 since i have no idea about what all those ortho tools things have but would be nice it instead of rotating bones etc in layout you could grab the ends of them and drag them to where you want them to go abit liek you do with skelgons in modeler (points and drag tool) but the length cant be changed

In ortho you can grab the tip of a bone and move it, and the children of that bone will follow it as well. Or you can grab a parent and a child bone and drag just the joint about, so the ends stay where they are...
