View Full Version : Having some trouble with "real" fresnel...

Hey, i need to do thins task where I am using a displacement map and real fresnel. It is causing the anomolies below... the jar is working fine... just the dust cover is a problem.

Any ideas whats causing this? I have boosted my rays up to 32 bounces and no help.... radiosity render, monte carlo....

The real fresnel image below exhibits the problem... the fast works but loses the "clarity" and "glisten" i need.

I useually just use gradients and tune the fresnal effect the way I want.
