Here is a puzzle.

Running VT5 Build # 080923
SX-84

Only one input at the moment (DVD Player) and it is plugged into C2a. Turn the system off. Turn it back on and on that input now is a black screen. That entire line (S-Video, C2a, b, c) no longer works. Plug it into another input C3a for example and it works. Shut the system down and then when you turn it back on it no longer works. Go back to C2a, or to C4a and it works until you shut the system down.

The same will happen if you plug it in via s-video, or component. That entire channel quits working when you shut the system down. You have to change the input to another channel to get it to work.

Do you think it is hardware? Is this the VT card or daughter board messing up?

We have replaced the DVD player, cables, also replaced the VGA cables going from the system to the SX-84.

Did you call tech and Newtek? It sounds like it it the SX. But they would know for sure. I had one where one channel just went dead. I mailed them the SX and they mailed it back pretty quick
