got this yesterday...amazing bit of 2d animation software for the DSi, if you have a DSi it's a free download from the DSware store...

you get 2 layers to animate on
1 sound track and 3 fx/sample tracks..you can record via the mic btw.
once you turn on the advanced tools you can flip/mirror copy shrink zoom frames as well as hold a shoulder buton down to drag a layer and so animated it over time like a car crossing the screen, there's selections to cut out bits etc...
various brushes...
only 3 colors to play with though and export is animated gif or seq of gifs as well as sharing the actual flipnote file via wifi/net

doesn't appear to be a zoom in feature but for a freeby app it's great.

great to storyboard out a shot or just have a bit of fun with 2D..the thing i really like is the sound track...makes it such fun!:D

if you have a dsi...go get it...if you don't...GET a DSi!:)

sorry more a PSP fan myself , some off the stuff you can do with a psp is amazing , like remote control " alway a great laugh in the pub " although my kid sister has got one and its pretty fun , but thats the whole thing with nintendo , to kiddie for me .

but i do have assains creed for the i-phone

i have a psp as well as a ds and dsi...psp used for music, audio books,video store and the video camera..havn't found a decent game for it yet and it's been YEARS looking and buying....shame it doesn't have a touch screen really...
2 and 4 gig sony memory cards for storage of my zbrush, maya max video traning.

my DS> mario kart, f-zero, animatee [2d animation app][2gig micro sd card and R4 card


dsi> kord ds10 synth/sequencer/drum machine, mario kart, camera's, music player, voice note recorder and now flipnote!
got a 4 gig sd card for it.

touch screens are cool but just another thing to break . my original i-phone died within about 3 months " over excess with track & field " then dead pixels appeared .

well my orginal DS still works just dandy...that must be like 4years+...bought it when the DS came out..same day.

anyhow..couple of gifs from flipnote...the signing on one was made by me this morning...works better with my audio track..but gif's don't DO audio!

yeah it's not finished yet...and your missing the audio track...:devil:
the last 2 screens were actually drawn whilst i was waiting to sign on today!:hey:

have you applied for the voucher for interview clothes ,"BURTONS" i signed on just after i left uni , and went got a new suit & shirt and shoes , all thanks to the tax man .

also ILA scotland gives you upto 200 for further educations , i used that to get my advance drivers certificate .

i think England has that or the equvilent
