Ahh...I see, a new Mac.

Good to see you got LW working :D

I don't have wacom so I wouldn't know, maybe there will be an update for the driver on Friday or maybe it has a hidden pref somewhere.

Good luck,

Kuzey

Are you sure, that the OS is actually SnowLeopard (10.6.0) and not Leopard (10.5.8)?

Are you sure, that the OS is actually SnowLeopard (10.6.0) and not Leopard (10.5.8)?

this often happens when apple bring out a new operating system

did you use migration manager to tranfer apps and files from your "old" machine or did do you a fresh install of every app and driver?
(do you use the latest wacom driver?)
Had this problem with 10.5 on my MacPro at the beginnig, but I usually do a clean install a few days after having played with a new OS. It was gone then.

yes 10.6
yes latest wacom driver
latest LW 9.6 UB

i synced my accounts from apple.me back to 10.6
perhaps a very clean instal will solve the problem.
perhaps the me.sync wrote wrong permissions in the library...?

> a "new user" do not solve the problem.
> i have the problem on 3 macs! the old one, the new one and my imac at home.
all independent systems have the same problem.
okay, all macs are synced with me.com (!!!?)

capture one pro 4.8.2 did not work to :-(

LW 9.6 works, but not 100%!

when you put a window from the first to the second monitor it shows only GREY.
you have to open and re-open the window.

today i had 20 crashes. with 10.5.8 two in 3 month!!!

when you earn your money with LW do not install 10.6

I will upgrade to Snow Leopard anyways. I use the Windows version of LW 9.6 under BootCamp, as it's like 10 times faster than the carbon UB version. I'll try again when they release the cocoa version.

then if you give as much trouble as he says, there will have to wait for an update NewTek kick? plan to get one?

In the last Hotfix/Update thread http://www.newtek.com/forums/showthread.php?t=101333, I asked Chuck if he could make any official statement about LW 9.6 UB compatibility with Snow Leopard.
Hopefully we'll see some official info in the next Update thread (which is slightly overdue, btw)
Right now, even that 10.6 is lying on my desk, I'll wait with updating until I have as much information about any issues with software that I have to rely on.
If there are any issues with LW on Snow Leopard, I would guess that NewTek will try to fix these inside the cocoa build, I don't think they will put much efforts in the carbon version anymore which seems to work with only minor issues right now.

@jensfoto:
Capture One was known not to work: http://snowleopard.wikidot.com/,
but Phase One has a workaround: http://www.phaseone.com/HOME/Content/Support/Article.aspx?articleid=2271&LanguageID=1
