Any way to set the clip of the camera so I can put it outside and have the interior rendered without removing the wall?

Try modifying the focal length/zoom factor in the camera properties pane whilst it's on the facing side of the wall.

Otherwise bevel or box a window. The former is a better option:)

Use single sided polygons that have their normals pointing to the inside.

+1. I don't know why this is not a priority for other LW users, I used it constantly in my MAX days. In the end I just stopped mentioning it here.

You don't always have only 1 face between the target and the camera, or are able to cut your model into pieces or boolean, both of which change the lighting of a scene ...


It does work with the ortho camera tho, weirdly enough :thumbsup:

would the advanced camera work for your purposes?

admittedly an extra step to put a simple poly in the scene, but seems to be the result you're looking for. see screenie.
