That is true, its really easy to make some amazing stuff with it very quickly. Although rendering can be a little slow at times. I wish I had this 15 years ago when was doing visuals for raves with fusion. Sigh, I miss those days... :)

Yeah, I used to VeeJay raves. I'd have been king if I just I just had Winamp's realtime Visualizer.

I had a bit more sophisticated set up than that... but I know what you are saying. Back then anything trippy was cool.
