In Layout, how can one attach an object to specific polygons of an object that is being deformed? Is there a plugin for that or something native in LW to accomplish that?

I just came across a 'MoveOn' plugin that looks like it allows parenting and animating an item along polys, but dont know if it works with displacement.

Lightwave ships with a motion modifier called Anchor.

1. Add an object with a UV map.

2. Add an object that you want to attach to the first object. Hit 'm' for motion options. Add Anchor to it. Open up the interface and select the first object, and select its UV map. The object's UV map appears in the interface and all you need to do is click anywhere on the map and the object will stick to the polygon there. Works prett well.
