View Full Version : maps won't show on polygons in modeler

hi,
i don't actually know what's wrong,whenever i try to put a picture on a surface as a texture or UV map,it doesn't show in modeler.

but when i send it to layout,it shows with no problems,and i did render it with no problems too...

so i guess the map is applied,but for some reason it doesn't show in modeler.

is there an option i'm missing or is that a problem?

i'm using LW 9.6 on windows 7 ultimate
mobile intel 965 chipset

In Perspective View, on the top, where is says Smooth Shade or Flat Shade, change it to Texture or Texture Wire.

In Layout the default is Textured Shaded Solid, so normally it shows right away.

Another thing to keep in mind is that your textures wont show up in modeler if youre using nodes. Not quite too sure why that happens, but you can only see your textures in open GL if theyre applied in layers rather than nodes.
