I am looking to model a car from scratch but I can't seem to find any decent free tutorials that are coherent and detailed.

Anyone got any good links?

Sorry for shameless plug but here

http://shop.3dtotal.com/index.php?cPath=28_60&osCsid=b4khbp9urm49crebcfdqmgagb0

not free, but very cheap, it has some over 180 pages of in depth tutorial on car creation.

Unfortunately LW3d.org now longer exists. There was an awesome tutorial on modeling a Ford Mustang by Lewis. I read that LW3d became Foundation 3d but I am not sure if the tut got moved over to the new site.

Edit: Actually I just did a quick search on the Foundation 3d site and found the tutorial.

If you can find Lewis's mustang tutorial that would be good and would fulfill your free requirement.

But if you're serious about learning to model vehicles, I would recommend paying for some decent training (I'd love for Lewis to make another vehicle tutorial). I found Kurv's vehicle modeling lessons excellent and they're not terribly expensive.
