View Full Version : is Splinegod's (Larry) Industrial modeling training compatible with 9.6?

Hi there,

I'm hoping someone can help me with an answer to my question.

I want to purchase the training from kurv done by Larry called "Industrial Modeling Product Creation Volume I".

I need to learn the techniques in there to finish up with a small project I'm doing for someone (and I'm lost, he he). But I have version 9.6 and that training was made in 7.5, and is compatible with 8.

So would I be able to follow in 9.6?

If someone could help it would be great,

Anything 7.5 can do, 9.6 can do better. Or just the same in most cases. :)

So yes. Although, the menus are perhaps different. 9.6 defaults to another menu preset I think. But you can load the older 7.5 menu/hotkey presets via the Menu/Shortcut Configuration panel.

Btw. The kurv officials hang in Spinquad forum. You might try posting there if you want an answer from them (as an alternative to emailing). Larry will probably answer in whichever forum within 12h. He's usually quick to respond and frequents both forums.

thanks for the info guys. It helps a lot to know it won't be money wasted (Lightwave version wise I mean. We all know splinegod is the master!)
