View Full Version : Bone 'Limited Range' display - OFF?

I'm using Joint bones on a face rig and I like the deformation I get when using the limited range setting. But I don't like all the overlaping circles being displayed......all the time, they tend to clutter the interface.

Is there a plugin/script available that allows me to toggle the display on and off.

It's handy initially to aid in setting the influence but I don't want them there all the time.

It's not possible to turn off the internal drawing of bones even through sdk. So I suppose you will have to hide those bones, and animate them via proxy of sorts. Ie add parent bones (0% strength;child bone position.z=0) and animate those or nulls and use motion modifiers/controllers to make one follow the other.

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't sure if this was viable but thanks for confirming it. I'll add it to the 9.6 wish list.

Good sugggeston for workaround - I'l try it
