I'm compositing a scene where I have the camera (representing an airplane) flying over an area. The camera looks at a specific target on the ground and at one point, I would like the camera to zoom in on the detail of that target below. I have tried setting up keyframes that represent the change in zoom setting, but when I change the zoom setting in each of the keyframes, it affects the zoom setting throughout the scene. The only way I have managed to get my zoom effect is to actually move the camera from the airplane to the ground below, but this doesn't seem right. Can anyone help?

Thanks, Parks

Do you mean that the motion "bounces" a little? If so, you need to take a look at the right bottom side of the graph editor ;).

In the camera properties panel, there is an envelope (e) button to the right of the horizontal FOV setting, click that and make your changes there.

Thanks, that worked for me. I'm still trying to get used to the graph editors.
