In the zip-file is a node-setup for a hologram effect. You will need 2 different images (i didn't include my images because of the size).

    greetings

    Good work.
The only problem with the samples though is they don't show the parallax that you get in the real thing. Also the repetitive text would usually sit behind the subject.

Armed with the knowledge I've gained from this thread and the spinquad one, I reckon the way to go is the CCTV shader. The holo camera should be pointing at the subject with a background surface behind it holding the repeating text. When the main camera moves across the surface the CCTV is sending to, the holo cam should move slightly too, in sync with the main cam to simulate the parallax effect.

Thanks for all the good work. You guys are awesome, I should have come here weeks ago.

I just tried it out, to get the parallax effect you don't actually need to move the "holocam". You just select "holo" type in the shader, then as you move the main cam you automagically see around the sides of the holo object

Only issue I'm having is that no matter what I do to the distance of the holo object to the holo cam, change the scale or whatever, it always stays the same, and squashed from left to right. Weird.

I am using the mac version of LW and was wondering where I put the Hologram Node? I can't seem to find the file folder where the rest of my nodes are.

Can you show us the settings in your nodes configurations? Or a tutorial?
