TC1 recorded clips and FCP X

question- is anyone out there using Final Cut X for post on exported clips from a TC1? (yes, its just a MPEG file) if so, what is your workflow? are you transcoding/importing every clip?

i want to strongly suggest AdobeCC but they are set on FCP... (i am NOT a fan of FCP)

    thanks in advance!

I did some testing with TC1 recorded media and Final Cut Pro X. The following TC1 video formats worked in FCP-X v10.4.1.

    1080p59.94
    1080p50
    1080p29.97
    1080p25
    1080p23.98
    720p59.94
    720p50
    720p23.98

    thank you very much Kane!
quick question- did this require the install of the Newtek codecs for FCP to play the media?

No, the latest Adobe Premiere no longer uses Apple QuickTime libraries, so there is no support for any 3rd party codecs. It instead has built in QuickTime decoding ability. All of the above formats appear as XDCAM encoded QuickTime material.
