    Tally for Livetext

It would be great to have some sort of tally feature built in to the external version of Livetext similar to how it is implemented in NDI studio monitor. I can think of many situations where this would help our productions.

This is kind of a kludge, but works, is all free and available today.

Download TubroTop which will allow you to choose any window and keep it on top of others.

Install my 'WebTally' application which will allow you to follow the tally of any input on the system (this web app does require AE2 or TC1/VMC1).

Open WebTally in a browser (FireFox seems to work best in this case) and size FireFox down as small as it will go after you have configured it for the correct source. I put it in the bottom right corner on the screen and now have tally indicator on top of LiveText.

Or use this on your smartphone and have it sitting right next to LiveText as another solution.

Thanks, Kane. This seems like a really good solution for us. I don't even think we'll need TurboTop because we use LT Scoreboards which (conveniently for us) doesn't fill the entire screen on our system for some reason, so we'll just drag it to one side.

    Appreciate the help!

I just updated WebTally. It will now recall the last used tally source when the application is started (instead of always defaulting to Input 1).
