Elta - tradeshow animation - Octane render

    Hey all,

I thought what with LW2018 being announced, I'd share some older LW2015 pieces before they're too out of date!

3D animation created in Lightwave 3D, rendered in Octane, with 2D hand-drawn animations on the background walls. We also handled the sound design.
Wyatt International came to us once more to create with them this part of the client's campaign. It was created in a very tight 10 days, actually back in March 2016 now!

Thanks to Mauro also for some modelling help and rigging set up

    Cheers,
    Dom

    Thank you!
It was a 'very tight' timeline too. I hardly slept for 10 days.

It was then shown in Germany at a tradeshow on a large quad-panel of HD screens.

    Ten days???? W... T... F???
Really nice work, and the voice over is very soothing to listen to too.

Love the hand drawn style being sort of 60s line art too. Looked cool

    Yeah, 10, very long days.
We'd planned for 3 weeks at a more humane pace. But of course, apparently the tradeshow date could not be changed. Boo for tradeshows!

    Thanks
I am still not sure how I got through this with such little sleep.
Michael Rooker worked on the 2D animation (there was more but it got cut in the end), and I had to hire Boris' GPUs to help get it rendered in time. Mad little project.

That's show biz certainly. Very nice end result though & that's all that really matters. Old is a state of mind; sleep just dilutes the adrenaline.
